Well I'm pretty much done with Tartarus for now.
He's as done as he will be I think. Now I can't get good quality pics of him but here's the closest I can do to an OK pic:
So here he is and that's how he will be for now :) I'm fairly happy with my first attempt at lightning effects. Not that I'm saying its good enough but it'll do for first attempt.

Moar Warmachine!
Here are some more Pictures of Cryxian models of mine.
First off the Slayer warjack. Everything I have said about Privateer Press models being good in metal I take back when it comes to their plastics. Now the model is not terrible buuut if you compare it to GW plastics you will find it severely lacking. Thankfully PP plastics are rare and far between and as I said they are not horrible just worse.
Also here are some pics of a metal Bone Chicken a.k.a. Deathripper :)

Bane Lord Tartarus (Work in Progress)
Welp I simply couldn't resist painting that model >.<
Here are some pictures of the work in progress Bane Lord Tartarus.
The comments so far are thus:
a) I know I can still paint green off the get go.
b) I need more practice doing the directional lightning because I am not nearly satisfied with it.
c) My camera sucks lol
d) Oh and I bloody well forgot to do the green light on his bloody axe QQ

Woo Warmachine at last!
I have finally gotten my hands on a Cryx model from Privateer Press' Warmachine (at last!). The majority of my models are still in the shop apparently...
Right anyway. Here are some pictures of Bane Lord Tartarus. Currently unpainted and unsprayed but assembled.
Still I have to say I am impressed by the quality of the model. It shows that a lot of thought has been put into assembly than any of the models I had any experience with previously. The model is also very clean and has only minimal mould lines which is always nice. Anyway here are the pictures!
P.S. I wanted to spray the damn thing but its pissing it down with rain so tomorrow lol.

Just for some variety
Today I figured I'd make a difference and decided to post something from my 40k collection. These guys are nothing major really but they are to me some of the coolest Imperial Guard models GamesWorkshop has produced.
I am talking of course (but of course!) about Cadian Stormtroopers.

Filthy Rats!
I've had a Warhammer Skaven army for quite a few years. Originally it was a fairly boring Nurglitch army which used to win a lot of games but required no thought or effort on my part what so ever.
Later on the army fell into real disrepair as I had a lot of other projects with newer models and as such it remained in a box very roughly packed and never used.
A LOT later on I with some persuasion from my better half have returned to that army and we have together started the slow process of getting the army playable according to the new edition rules and with accordance to the new army book.
Well here is an example of some Rat Ogres from this "new and improved" skaven army:

Blood Knights step by step: Stage 1
So we come to blood knights. Now I have to say this in advance. I do not like painting red. It requires something I do not have. Namely the ability to stop before you end up with orange. SO! Knowing that this is my failure I am going to try and bloody well stop before Blood Knights end up as Oranges in a market stall! (This also involves making them darker than usual Red they are given)
Right well best get to it.
Stage 1.
Simple stage really. It requires 0 skill and 0 ability. Also requires a fairly sizable brush. In this case I have used the only Citadel brush I actually have (because they are crap) "Large brush"
What you need to do is cover all the metal and all the cloth areas of the model with Scab red. Now you may ask "why don't you use those foundation paints GW is so proud of". The main reason here is that I do not need a bright red model to be the result. I want it to be dark and I want Blood Red (paint colour) to be the final highlight rather than a major colour on the model.
Here are some examples of post Stage one blood Knights:
As such mistakes and errors are allowed on the first few stages as they will be covered up later. Also it doesn't matter TOO much if you miss out some little bits at this stage but this doesn't mean you need to be sloppy or lazy!

Another daily pic
This time "feast" your eyes on what used to be Warhammer's Dark Elf Blackguard banner bearer. With I what I would call a "much better looking" banner. Who used to serve as my Army Battle Standard bearer. However since I am currently rethinking my Dark Elf army for 8th ed Warhammer...Well he may well get to be in it yet :)

And Again
Nothing particularly amazing today just another set of pictures this time featuring some Silver Helms - Turned Black Knights. In my opinion the champion of that unit turned out the best so here are some pictures of him.
The idea of using silver helm models - mildly converted for the Vampire Counts army came from simply looking at those old and terrible models the Gamesworkshop range currently holds (HORSES WITH BONE TAILS!) also there was no way to give models barding. Naturally since my Vampire Counts were themed on dead Elves - Silver Helms were the most obvious choice.

Another day
Well nothing much new as such. Work on blood knights is moving on and I AM taking pictures. Warmachine not here yet so nothing to report there yet.
But since I have so many models out there that have never been photographed or seen here is a taster of some more:
This is a skeleton spear unit from my - now - largely neglected Warhammer Fantasy undead army which was originally themed as a High Elf Undead army. (I've kept to that theme for most part to be honest). There will be more pictures of them here so keep your eyes peeled :)
